Volunteer Positions Available

Race Expo:

Assist in dispensing the registration packets to the runners as they arrive. This includes ID verification, T-shirt and goodie bag pickup.

Sunday Morning Packet Pickup:

Assist in dispensing registration packets to runners and T-shirt and goodie bag pickup.\.  

Food Preparation and Distribution:

Cut up and prepare fruit for distribution to runners and distributing food to runners.  

Finish Line:

Assist with the handing out medals and distributing water to finishers.

Drop Bags:

Assist with the organizing and distributing of runner’s drop bags.

Course Direction:

Help direct the runners along the course and guide traffic away from the runners. Training, reflective vest, flag, and flash light (if necessary) will be provided and is mandatory.  

Aid Station:

Aid stations are for group’s sizes 6 to 20 depending on where you are on the course. Volunteers pass out water, Gator Aid, and other aids to runners along the course. Training is provided and is mandatory.  

Course Clean-up:

The marathon course covers approximately 20 miles of county and city roads. To ensure a positive environment for the runner’s and other visitors we clean up the road sides in advance. This activity is for groups small or large that are willing to take a few hours and clean up a portion of the course.
